Initial debugging method for car audio

First, the inspection system

1. Check the line connection to avoid short circuit or open circuit and ensure the normal use of the system.
2. Charge the capacitor first, then install the fuse, so as to avoid the instantaneous high current impact capacitor.
3. Check the phase of all the speakers to avoid affecting the bass effect of the system.
4. Check the front, rear, left and right sound fields of the main unit to avoid affecting the sound quality of the system.
5. Check that all equipment is secure and that the terminals are intact.

Second, sound quality debugging

1, set the crossover point

According to the system configuration, the frequency division point of the power amplifier corresponding to the speaker and the frequency division point of the host output are set accordingly.

2, the adjustment of the gain

(1) Adjust the gain of the main unit and the amplifier to the minimum position.
(2) Set all functions of the host (including BAL\FAD\LOUD, etc.) to zero in general.
(3) Use a vocal-based CD to make audition discs.
(4) Gradually increase the volume of the host until you hear the distortion, then adjust the low volume back to no distortion, the volume of the host is fixed at this position.
(5) Gradually increase the gain of the amplifier until you expect the volume, taking care not to produce distortion.

Third, the positioning of the sound field

1. Adjust the FAD function so that the customer can experience the surround sound effect and stereo effect of the sound field in the car.
2. Remember the difference in sound field just before and after, and zero the BAL\FAD function.
3. Adjust the front and rear sounds in the corresponding position of the power amplifier, so that the sound effect is close to the effect of the previous host.

Fourth, noise inspection and tracking exclusion

1. Checking the noise (1) Turn on the engine first, turn on the headlights and air conditioners, and turn the sound system to a position where you can listen.
(2) Stabilize the engine's rotation speed at about 3000 rpm, constantly change the CD track, and listen carefully to the high-pitched part to hear if there is noise (ie, V.....V.... noise). If there is no noise, the system is The design and layout are reasonable, otherwise there will be problems.

2. Tracking and Eliminating Noise All the power amplifier signal input (ie RCA) is released, and then check again according to the noise check method to hear if there is noise.

(1) Noise-free inspection method

Restore the amplifier input (RCA), release the signal output from the CD player, and check for noise.

1 should check when there is noise

A. Is the wiring of the signal line reasonable?
B. Is the signal shielding good?
C. Does the lotus terminal of the signal line match the lotus terminal of the amplifier? 2 no noise should be checked

A. The power supply line of the CD player is good. The power supply part of the CD machine must be reconnected. The original car line cannot be used.
B. Is the output terminal of the CD player and the terminal of the signal cable well matched?
C. Check if the voltage of the CD player is the same as the voltage of the power amplifier.

(2) Noise tracking method The output of the power amplifier is released, and another speaker is connected to the power amplifier to hear whether there is noise.

1 should check when there is noise

A. Check if the grounding point of the power amplifier is correct. If it is not correct, you need to re-ground the grounding wire. Note that the grounding points of two or more horizontal mountings must be at the same point.
B. Check if the potentiometer contact of the amplifier gain button is good.
C. Check if the outer casing of the amplifier is grounded.

2 No noise needs to check the following items
A. Is the wiring of the speaker cable close to the main power supply line of the vehicle body?
B. Check if the installation position of the high room speaker is correct.
