Toshiba provides LED lighting system for the Houston Museum of Fine Arts

It is reported that Toshiba International Corporation's LED lighting system is equipped to light the Houston Art Museum.

Toshiba installed a 150-inch A19 lamp in the museum for lighting in the museum's periphery, the Columbia area, and the Caroline legal building. The museum is also expected to install more fixtures in the Tianzhu Hall and the Japanese gallery area.

Toshiba International said that the A19 lamp can reduce energy consumption by 85% compared to conventional lighting. The new LED light will also replace the existing 70-watt metal halide lamp for a 90-foot-tall mural. The lighting of this artwork will reduce electricity consumption by 40%.
