In the first half of 2009, many manufacturers released bulb-type LED lighting products. In the case of major companies competing for each other's originality, NEC Lighting's products launched in late September 2009 are similar to those of IRISHYAMA, but have become a topic of discussion. The two products look similar because the two companies use common components in the heat sink portion of the housing. Lamp-type LED lighting products have already begun to compete on price before they become popular. In order to cut costs, manufacturers using such common components may become more and more in the future.
In fact, NEC Lighting originally planned to market other shapes of bulb-type LED lighting products at around 6,000 yen in July 2009. The plan was postponed for two months, or even the design was changed, in order to cope with the sharp decline in prices. NEC Lighting's original strategy was to win at a lower price than the competitive product market price (around 8,000 yen), but Sharp was forced to adjust the price because of the release of a new product of around 4,000 yen.
To this end, NEC Lighting will be able to simultaneously ensure heat dissipation and cost reduction of the heat sink part, from the self-designed aluminum die-casting products to the common parts made in China. The common component is a product in which fins are provided on the outer circumference of the tube, and the extruded part is subjected to cutting processing in order to form the outer shape of the outer casing.
As a cost reduction measure, the number of LED packages has been reduced from six to five, which is one of the reasons for replacing the heat sink. To ensure the same illuminance as before the package is cut, it is necessary to increase the illuminance of each LED, so that the current value will increase, and the total heat dissipation and distribution will also change. Due to the need to improve the heat sink, the common components are boldly adopted.
Looking for this part is the Chinese cooperative factory of NEC production base. The original plan was to be scheduled to be produced in Japan, but was instead produced in China as part of the cost reduction. This action not only satisfies the design changes, but also helps to lower the price.
It is estimated that the outer casing of the Alice Oyema product is also the same, but the shape is slightly different from that of NEC lighting.
