Emerson (Emerson Network Power) announced the launch of a series of models for the new high-efficiency LDS25 LED lighting power supply. This new series of 25W power products and the company's LDS70 series 70W power products are also facing the fast-growing LED lighting market.
LDS25 series 25W LED power for an alternating current input voltage 120V to 277V, if the working voltage of 36V (DC), the output current up to 700mA. This series of power supplies has two output modes, constant current and constant voltage, which can meet the requirements of many different LED lighting systems. In constant current mode, the LED lighting system can operate at 36V or as low as 26V ; if using constant voltage mode, it can supply 300mA to 700mA load current to the lighting system , or provide the required current according to the preset value. The user only needs to use a resistor to set the current required within the rated range. In addition, this series of power supplies also has a dimming function in accordance with IEC 60929 , which regulates the output current over the entire range of 0 to 700 mA with a standard voltage signal of 0 to 10V .
The power supply has active power factor correction, so the power factor is as high as 0.9 or higher, and the power conversion efficiency is as high as 86% (typical). This series of power supplies can also operate at ambient temperatures of -30 to 60 degrees Celsius or chassis temperatures of -30 to 90 degrees Celsius without air cooling . This range of LED lighting power supplies is ideal for indoor lighting system applications, and is available in two versions with an open frame and an IP20 rated enclosure. The open frame model is very compact, only 5.8 x 1.6 inches ( 147mm x 42mm ) and 1.1 inches ( 28mm ) thick . As for the IP20 protective case, it is only 6.87 x 1.80 inches ( 174.5mm x 45.6mm ) and 1.26 inches ( 32mm ) thick .
The power supply is fully compliant with the CISPR 15 standard for electromagnetic interference and is compliant with the Federal Communications Commission's ( FCC ) Section 15 ( Part 15 ) regulations for conducted noise. With short circuit, over voltage, over temperature protection mode. In addition, a protection function to prevent overheating of the wires is added. Once the wires are overheated, this protection function will automatically slow down the current output to avoid damage to the LEDs and the drive circuit.
In addition, the LDS25 Series power supplies meet the stringent requirements of several product safety standards, including the technical specifications for LED- related applications such as EN 61347-2-13 and UL 8750 . It also complies with the relevant provisions of CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 and CE LVD standards.
