Inner Mongolia 4 UHV lines to be approved

Inner Mongolia 4 UHV lines to be approved
At the National Energy Work Conference in 2014, it proposed to plan and construct 12 power transmission channels from Inner Mongolia to Tianjin, including four power transmission channels in Inner Mongolia.
In 2014 National "Two Conferences", Liang Tiecheng, deputy to the National People's Congress and director of the Development and Reform Commission of the autonomous region, disclosed that among the power transmission routes planned by the National Energy Administration, four extra-high-pressure tunnel projects from Inner Mongolia have passed the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Bureau. The discussion will be conducted before the State Council approves the preparatory work.
If Inner Mongolia’s 4 UHV lines are approved, Inner Mongolia will not be able to deliver electricity for a long period of time and will take this opportunity to ease.
Although Inner Mongolia is a large energy province, although there is abundant wind energy, due to the poor power transmission channels, electricity is not delivered, and over 30% of thermal power is idle. The wind-wind rejection rate is as high as 20% to 30%.
It is understood that the first phase of the country’s proposal is to build four UHVs in Inner Mongolia: Ximeng-Shandong, Ximeng-Jiangsu, Mengxi-Shandong, and Mengxi-Tianjin. The four UHV transmission capacities are 31 million kilowatts. Supporting electric power installed capacity is 42 million kilowatts, including 6 million kilowatts of wind power installed capacity, which is an increase in the proportion of clean energy used in the electricity-receiving regions, which will greatly help the management of haze in related regions.
Liu Bo, a staff member of the Renewable Energy Development Leading Group Office of the Chayouzhong Banner in Wulanchabu City, told the reporter: “The Zayouzheng Banner has very rich wind resources, and the problem of 'sending out and delivering' has also plagued us. After the approval of the four UHV lines, it is believed that this problem must be alleviated."
Shu Yudong, director of the integrated department of Inner Mongolia Huadian Huitengxile Wind Power Co., Ltd., said that at present, wind power in Inner Mongolia can be described as difficult. Now many wind power companies are idle, and the UHV line will help improve the situation in Inner Mongolia where electricity can not be delivered. However, due to too much idle electricity in Inner Mongolia, it needs to be improved gradually.
However, Yu Guangjun, director of the Institute of Economic Research at the Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Sciences, said that Inner Mongolia is building an extra-high line in its energy export base. This is an important part of the project. After construction, it will alleviate the phenomenon of litter, but a series of problems after approval is also worthwhile. Concerned.
