Future Lighting Solutions recently announced a partnership with Creative Technology Hong Kong Limited to develop LUXEON-based LED projection lamps for the Asian/European market.
It is reported that the project will produce new solid-state projection lamps under the Creative Technology Mabushi brand and will be supported by the thermal, electrical and optical design of the Future engineering team. In addition, Future will help Creative Technology with drive selection and overall system design, using specialized tools to accelerate and optimize LED system development, including maximizing LED output performance and lifetime.
Tools used in the project include Future's SSL Designer (for defining, calculating, and optimizing baseline system requirements and costs), Usable Light Tool (for analyzing LED performance in specific work environments), and LED Reliability Tool (for calculating LED usage) Lifetime) and QLED (for detailed thermal analysis of the design of LED solutions).
