General Manager Guo Kaiyuan said that the cooperation case was provided by Huashang Technology, Changzhi was responsible for funds and estuary, jointly attacked the LED TV market of China's five major power plants, and the LED backlight module replaced the cold cathode tube (CCFL). Li Shangtian, chairman of Huashang, officially signed the cooperation contract in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. Guo Kaiyuan pointed out that this cooperation was invited by many Chinese optoelectronics experts, and reached an agreement on Friday (12.4). After the resolution of the board of directors of China, the signing was completed.
The company that signed the contract with Huashang is “Changzhi High-tech Industrial Investment Companyâ€. Guo Kaiyuan said that the company is the main body of the Changzhi Municipal Government to lead the development of the private industry. The Changzhi Municipal Government invested 50 million yuan and the private enterprises invested 200 million yuan. It is composed of the current vice president of Changzhi City as the chairman of the board of directors , and is the counterpart company that cooperates with Huashang.
The new LED factory produced in this cooperation case is currently called “Shanxi Changzhi Huashang Co., Ltd.â€, with an initial reserve capital of 300 million yuan, 60% invested by Changzhi High-tech Industrial Investment Co., and 40% invested by Huashang. The company provides support and technical services, especially in the first two years of operation. Therefore, the initial general manager candidates will be appointed by Huashang, while the Changzhi high-tech industry will be responsible for funds and business matters with the five major power plants.
Guo Kaiyuan said that the new plant will provide ultra-high-brightness LED chips. The first phase plans to supply 1 billion pieces (100 KK) as a capacity target in one year, and finally raises the scale to 5 billion pieces . The first phase is expected to be Purchasing 12 MOCVD machines, it is expected to start delivery in the second half of next year, so it will take the lead in buying the rear-end equipment in about 3-4 months. In the third quarter, MOCVD machines will be installed one after another, and mass production will continue.
What is remarkable is that Huashang will not need to actually spend money . Guo Kaiyuan said that since Huashang provides relevant production technology and patents, after the two parties signed a joint venture contract, Huashang can receive a premium of 270 million yuan in the next two years, deducting 120 million yuan that Huashang should have invested. It can also charge a premium of 150 million yuan, which is recorded in installments according to the proportion of cooperation progress.
The tentative Shanxi Changzhi Huashang Co., Ltd. is the first LED epitaxial factory jointly established by the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Although Taiwan’s Huashang does not need to be funded at all , it still has to be reviewed by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs. It is believed that it should be able to pass smoothly , and it will be formally established as soon as the end of January and early February.
