The THX 4K certification program is currently the only high-resolution display performance standard. To achieve this certification, the display requires up to 600 critical tests and evaluations to ensure accurate HD and Ultra HD images are delivered to the highest standards. THX analyzes color interpretation, sharpness, uniformity, and detail to analyze the interpretation of many key image elements in 4K or Ultra HD displays while minimizing the perception of textures and other flaws.
