The LG H20 model is the world's first set-top box that uses the industry's latest digital video broadcasting standard DVB? -S2. DVB-S2 leverages important advances in channel coding and modulation to provide a 35% higher capability than previous DVB-S standards. Currently H20 STB has been adopted by DIRECTV in the United States.

The highly integrated CX24118 direct down conversion satellite tuner is designed for the strict performance parameters of advanced demodulation 8PSK and DBS-S2 applications. These two designs can provide manufacturers with complete front-end system solutions that optimize system performance.
