2017 Yunqi Conference: Mobile Intelligent Internet of Everything Shows "Flying Smart"

The 2017 Yunqi Conference, held over four days in Hangzhou’s Yunqi Township, was a major success. With the theme “Flying Smart,” it brought together participants from 67 countries, 450 tech companies, and nearly 50,000 attendees. The event covered cutting-edge topics such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data, new retail, and fintech. It also explored 20 emerging technology fields, including cloud computing, infrastructure, quantum computing, life sciences, multimedia, and AR. At this year's conference, Ziguang Zengru made its debut, showcasing innovative solutions in mobile chips, industrial applications, car networking, IoT, and information security. The company also presented products developed through collaboration with Alibaba's entire baseline system. Ziguang Zengru emphasizes the integration of "Chinese core" and "Chinese soul," combining hardware and software to create intelligent solutions. At the AliOS Summit on November 13, Wang Chengwei, Vice President of Spreadtrum Communications, highlighted how the "chip + operating system" model is becoming a key driver in the intelligent terminal industry. Spreadtrum and AliOS have reached a baseline level of cooperation, with Spreadtrum's LTE chip platform fully supporting AliOS, and mobile terminal shipments surpassing 10 million units. Together, the two companies launched a lightweight software-hardware solution for the 4G era. Spreadtrum's SC9820 chip is optimized for AliOS, offering a lightweight, stable, and secure 4G solution. This technology has been integrated into AI-powered 4G devices, bringing high-quality internet services to users and helping global operators transition from 2G/3G to 4G. With the latest upgrade of AliOS, Spreadtrum+AliOS solutions have expanded into the broader Internet of Everything. A notable example is the Sunny X5S security phone, which uses Spreadtrum’s SL8301 security chip combined with PMOS, a dual-system developed by AliOS and the Public Security Bureau. This ensures high-level security from hardware to application software, enabling true security, trust, and self-control. In the IoT space, Ziguang Zengru offers solutions for car networking, cluster private networks, and light IoT. One standout product is the Spreadtrum Iris Recognition Module SLM500, which uses a high-performance processor and Zhongke Red Star’s iris recognition algorithm. It features high security, low power consumption, long-distance recognition (up to 40cm), and fast processing (<1 second). Its modular design supports secondary development and is used in smart locks, security, finance, and AI. The module supports LTE communication for China’s three major carriers and global operators, enabling high-speed 4G/4G+ connectivity. It also supports 1080p HD video recording, night vision, and multi-mode satellite positioning (Beidou, GPS, Glonass) with ground-based assistance for precise navigation. Integrated with AliOS Carware, it enhances the in-vehicle experience with more smart applications. As a founding partner of Alibaba Cloud’s IoT market, Rui Dike of Ziguang Zonui focuses on the low-power WiFi chip RDA5981. It integrates an ARM Cortex M4 core, offering configurable SRAM and support for external PSRAM. The chip provides expansion interfaces for sensors and codecs, making it ideal for IoT development. RDA5981 includes MPU/FPU and hardware acceleration engines like RSA/AES/TRNG, meeting advanced security needs for IoT devices. It supports the RUI platform architecture and can be programmed using Mbed and FreeRTOS environments, along with common communication and cloud protocols. It also connects with Alibaba’s smart and SDS platforms, making it easier for users to integrate across home, automotive, medical, smart city, and wearable devices. For China! Ziguang Zengru uses technology and service to illuminate smart living.
