DJI reduces the maximum design speed of the Inspire 2 drone

The Verge Chinese Station reported on December 1

Drone maker DJI said that the Inspire 2 announced earlier this month will be slightly adjusted at the top speed, down from the originally planned 67 mph (108 km/h) to 58 mph (93 km/h). ), and accelerating to 50 mph (80 km/h) takes 5 seconds instead of the 4 seconds originally announced. The company's interpretation of the above changes is that while ensuring speed, it does not want to affect image quality and stability. The Inspire 2 is mainly aimed at professional film and television producers, with obstacle tracking capabilities, equipped with two cameras, as well as a new image processing system that works with SSDs. Therefore, it is reasonable for manufacturers to prioritize quality rather than speed.

Compared with some of the problems faced by DJI’s competitors, slight adjustments in the maximum speed are not worth mentioning. However, for those consumers who are purely directed at the high-speed performance promised by the original manufacturers, DJI also has established a full refund policy.
