At present, the mainstream white LEDs on the market are all made of blue phosphors excited by blue light chips. This method is relatively simple and low cost, so it is widely used. However, the color produced by such a product is not high, so how can we make a high-profile product?

As we all know, the spectrum can achieve high performance and make high-performance products. After the three primary colors R, G, and B are mixed, the index is very high, so it is very realistic to be recognized by the human eye after diffuse reflection on the object. At present, there are only two kinds of spectra (blue and yellow) excited by the blue chip to excite the yellow phosphor, and the lack of red spectrum results in insufficient color rendering.

At present, the yellow phosphor has higher excitation efficiency than the red phosphor, and adding some red phosphor to the yellow phosphor can improve the index. However, it should be noted that the efficiency of the blue phosphor to excite the yellow phosphor after the addition of the red phosphor is relatively reduced, but the red spectrum is too long to cover other spectra, so the addition of red powder increases the index and reduces the luminous flux.

With the release of the US Energy Star, the technical requirements are becoming more and more strict, and the competition in the industry is relatively increasing. It is very easy to achieve the Ra80. However, it is still quite difficult to achieve high brightness and high brightness at the same time. The pursuit of warm white light highlights, the industry's usual practice is to use yellow phosphor mixed red phosphor to achieve, but the product has a relatively low luminous flux.

Taiwan's Hongdae Trading Co., Ltd. (the general agent of Japan's fundamental special chemical Asia-Pacific region) recently introduced the orange phosphor YLO-802B (peak wavelength 605nm) and YLO-804B (peak wavelength 615nm). Hongda said that these two powders are matched with 460nm chips to make about 3000K-4000K warm white light to achieve Ra80 without reducing the luminous flux, and the stability and consistency are also very good.

Hongda pointed out that the white color of 5700K-6500K can be matched with Hongda's Y-996 yellow powder. YLO-804B is used as the indicator of Zhengbai Gaoxian 80. It can also use the green powder YG-535 of Hongda YAG according to the wavelength of the chip. Paired with YLO-804B to do the effect of positive white light indicating that 80 does not reduce the luminous flux.

Hongda emphasizes that this is the phosphor of the silicate component currently on the market. The silicate component powder itself is not resistant to high temperature and hot and humid, and color temperature drift often occurs, which may be eliminated in the future.
