Design and Implementation of Intelligent Refrigerator Based on Internet of Things

Abstract: Based on RFID technology, intelligent management of food in the refrigerator is realized through the Internet. Using PXA270 as the platform, using WindowsCE 5.0 as the operating system, using development tools such as QT and Visual Studio 2005, the technologies involved in refrigerators include RFID technology, GPRS technology, wired network access, SQLite database and other technologies, which are triggered by different sensors. Different functions to realize humanized and intelligent refrigerator management.

With the rapid development of people's living standards, the pace of life is accelerating, and the role of refrigerators in the family is also increasing, but it is troublesome to organize, and it is often unclear whether food is used up or forget some food in the refrigerator. Cause all kinds of life troubles.

This design uses radio frequency identification (RFID, Radio Frequency IdenTIficaTIon) technology, combined with the Internet and information processing technology, to establish an intelligent refrigerator food supervision system to achieve food records in the refrigerator. Then, the food in the refrigerator can be displayed on the LCD screen of the refrigerator by querying the database, or you can text the refrigerator to query the food at home through the mobile phone, and purchase the refrigerator food through the mobile phone to meet the needs of the future smart home.

With the development of the Internet of Things, the investment in smart homes for the Internet of Things is rapidly expanding, and the finished products of RFID tags are constantly decreasing. In the future, it may replace barcodes as food outsourcing, and RFID tags are known for their durability, durability, and maintenance-free. As most people's families have reached the level of a well-off society, they are eager to make household appliances more convenient and convenient. Although this system is only a prototype, the price is moderate, and it uses more cutting-edge technology, which is more convenient than the traditional refrigerator, providing convenience for the busy life of the urban population, solving many trivial things in life, and pushing the market for most people. Accepted.

1 Overall system design

1.1 Overall system plan

According to the function and technical requirements of the smart refrigerator terminal, it was decided to use the "hardware + software" system structure to design the smart refrigerator terminal. The application layer was written based on the OS according to the different needs of the project. The brief introduction of each part is as follows:

The system uses a hardware development platform based on Intel Xscale PXA270, which is an ARM processor with Intel XScale architecture.

Windows CE 5.0 is selected as the embedded operating system. Windows CE is a highly modular embedded operating system. Users can customize and cut them through the Platform Builder tool according to their own device requirements.

Application framework: qt-embedded-wince-opensource4.6 has a rich standard library, dynamic engine, with Widget style sheet, powerful graphic canvas and multi-threading features; high-performance, small footprint and other features on Windows CE .

This system is used as a household electrical appliance. It can inquire and access the food at any time through the Internet. Users can learn about refrigerator food information through SMS and decide whether to buy online. The overall scheme of the system is shown in Figure 1.
